Fresh off of its recent commercial successes, the belated PC port of Remedy’s popular third-person survival horror title Alan Wake is scheduled for various patches, the first of which will arrive this week.
According to a post on Remedy’s official forums, this week’s patch will repair various game bugs and add ” unofficial support for 640×480 and 800×600 resolution.” A patch scheduled for next week will follow suit, including attempts to add a “free camera” to the world and SLI support.
A list of possible priorities for a “future patch” has been detailed as well, but Remedy notes that it “hasn’t been evaluated how much work these are,” and that they will “continue to prioritize based on feedback.”
