If you a looking for a PC gaming desk, there are plenty to choose from.

The Atlantic gaming company has come out with a few different models of gaming desks, several of which have blown up in popularity. These are the Atlantic Gaming Desk and the Atlantic Gaming Desk Pro.

Today we are going to focus on the Atlantic Gaming Desk. We’ll take a look at the features, talk about the pros and cons, and we’ll also take a long, hard look at the numbers and specs.

These are some of the things we’ll cover to help you determine if this is the right choice for you.

The Atlantic Gaming Computer Desk

The Atlantic Gaming Desk is one of the most feature dense-desks you will find on the market today. Designed with the hardcore gamer in mind, it is equipped with speaker setups on both sides, a cup holder, headphones holder, power brick holder, tv mount and several other optional attachments.

Atlantic Gaming Desk dimensions

The desk measures 40 inches in length, 23.5 inches in width, and 29.5 inches in height, and weighs 37.4 pounds.

It can fit up to a 27-inch monitor, and also has a dual mount setup you can use to mount larger TV displays.

Design and aesthetic

Simply put, this desk is beast.

The tabletop is made from steel and has a carbon fiber finish. The body of the desk is also constructed from steel. Hell, even the cup holder is metal.

If you like metal-framed furniture, Atlantic might have designed this just for you.

The Atlantic gaming desk is jam-packed with features and option add-ons.

The desk comes with a monitor stand that raises your screen, so that you can see it without obstruction.

It also comes with a place to hang your headphones so they stay out of the way when they aren’t in use, a shelf to store your favorite games, and (best of all) a place to rest all your cords and mount a power brick.

There are seriously more optional attachments than you will ever need.

In addition, the TV monitor holder is capable of housing a 27-inch monitor and can support 40 pounds of weight by itself.

Sturdy frame

Because the frame is all metal, the Atlantic is one of the sturdiest desks at this price point. It is capable of supporting a maximim weight of over 100 pounds. This is great performance at this price level.

Furthermore, the non-marring feet keep the desk from sliding around and scuffing up the floor.

Beautiful finish

The wire management trim plates and the steel rod body aren’t the only metal pieces on the desk. The tabletop itself is made from metal and has a carbon fiber finish.

Set up

You don’t have to spend a ton of time setting this desk up – it really should only take you a few minutes. You also have the option to decide which add-ons you want to attach the desk, and you can always add or remove parts whenever you please.

Cons of the Atlantic Gaming Desk

Having too many features definitely can be a bad thing, and the Atlantic gaming desk comes dangerously close to doing that. The speaker brackets are extremely small and won’t fit some of the nicer computer speaker options.

Also, and this is just me being petty, why is the cup holder only on the right-hand side? Ten percent of the world is left-handed, show the lefties some love too.

Is This a Good Deal?

When you are searching for a new gaming desk, you want to make sure you are getting some good bang for your buck. Far too often a company will make a regular computer desk and toss the word gaming in front of the word desk just so they can tack on an extra hundred dollars or so.

Not so the case here.

The Atlantic Gaming Desk isn’t even going to cost you as much as a regular computer desk, and was designed from the ground up with gamers in mind.

Come on, that power-brick holder is something only we would appreciate.

Anyhow, we’d argue that at this price point, there is no question that you are getting a great deal.

About Atlantic, Inc.

We had no idea, but Atlantic, Inc. has been around for more than 30 years.

Interestingly enough, they maybe should have been named Pacific Inc. considering they’re based out of California.

Their focus is solely on entertainment products. From audio video accessories to gaming furniture and gaming storage solutions, this is all they do.

Based on our research, it seems as though Atlantic, Inc. isn’t afraid to take creative risks, either. They frequently blend different materials to try and come up with new, aesthetically-pleasing compounds.

They’ve used wood, plastic, metal, and even carbon-fiber.

Despite this wide array of material use, they still manage to be an environmentally conscious and eco-friendly company.

At the End of it All

We really like this desk.

The Atlantic Gaming Desk is the sturdiest in its class, holds the most weight, and has unrivaled cable management systems (something that is becoming more and more important lately).

It somehow manages to accomplish all of this while still having a price tag that doesn’t force you to skip dinner for the next few weeks.

There are some downsides, of course, but we still feel this is an excellent choice. In fact, if you are in the market for a gaming desk that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, then the Atlantic Gaming Desk is clearly something you should look at.
