Earlier this week, David Jaffe told us that his next game would be “in between God of War and Calling All Cars,” which is more than we have known to date without telling us anything. However, things may have changed last night at the AIAS Interactive Achievement Awards where he was an award presenter.
During Jaffe’s duties an audience member shouted “Twisted Metal!” to which the God of War designer promptly replied, “Soon, bitch. Eight or nine months.” Take that for what you will, as one or both of the parties involved could have been under the influence of copious amount of alcohol, but the timeframe seems right. Eight or nine months pinpoints October or November, just in time for holiday shopping goodness.
