Capcom has formalized the success it’s had with Case 0, Dead Rising 2‘s Xbox 360 exclusive downloadable prologue; the company’s slipped out word about the game having broken “all records on Xbox LIVE with the best week one unit sales in the history of all content distributed through Xbox LIVE Arcade.”
They don’t dive into the numbers, but over 328,000 players are believed to have been curious enough about the importance of duct tape in the upcoming sequel to have purchased the prologue in the first 7 days of availability.
It launched last Tuesday for $5.
Dead Rising 2 itself will release in Europe on September 24th and North America on September 28th.
