Raise your arms in the air in victory because Brutal Legend finally has a publisher. The game has been drifting around since Activision gave it the axe, but now the new publishing darling of the gaming industry has picked it up. Everyone’s favorite original IP developer EA (never thought you would see those words, did ya?) has swooped in and saved what looks to be one hell of a rock n’ roll game. Score another point for EA this year since for a while there it looked like the Tim Schafer developed game was going to become vaporware. No release date other than Fall 2009, but we’ll get a trailer at the VGAs this Sunday.
