Epic have been flashing a trailer around GDC this week, a trailer that offers just a glimpse of what the next generation of videogames could look like, based upon their Unreal Engine technology. We’ve got some snaps of the footage up in the gallery here, and it’s very pretty stuff, showcasing a Blade Runner-esque setting with a shady looking man smoking one beautfiul cigarette.
That’s not to say this is Unreal Engine 4, in fact we’re not really sure what it is at the moment. But given the amount of developers that are using Unreal Engine 3 in the current generation, there’s a good chance that this technology will be seen all across our PS4s and Xbox 720s.
The main question now is when will we get to play something that looks like this?
