With all the Final Fantasy titles slated for the near future, throwing another one into the mix couldn’t hurt, right? It looks like we’ll find that out later this year as Square Enix let loose the first trailer for the newly-announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 today.
While half of the trailer shows some ending scenes from FF13, the second half is more teaser than anything. Lightning is shown standing on a balcony, looking pensive and serious as she tends to, and is fully decked out in armor (with, of course, exposed thighs). The trailer ends with Lightning having a PvP moment with an unidentified character with purple flashes and all.
Excited? Weirded out?
