UK gaming magazine PSM3 has reported that God of War IV could contain online co-op, featuring a story line in which Kratos and his brother Deimos attempt to escape from the afterlife. It was mentioned in an article about the most anticipated PS3 titles of 2012 and also suggested that the title is in development and may be available sooner rather than later.
Rumors about the game’s development were sparked in late 2010 when retailer Mighty Ape published a placeholder date for the unannounced title, with speculation increasing when Sony Santa Monica published a job listing for a “Senior Staff Concept Artist” for a project called “God of War”.
