Last year at GDC Bungie’s Joseph Staton spoke a little about the team’s new project with Activision, stating: “Wouldn’t it be great if we could make a world that was always there for you?” Rumors of an MMO immeadiatly spread like wild fire, and they could well be accurate.
Kotaku claims to have a source stating that the next game from the Halo creators is titled Destiny, and will be a sci-fi FPS MMO (bit of a mouthful I know). It’s basically “WoW in space”; their source’s words, not ours. It will run on a new Bungie-developed graphics engine and feature unique online connectivity and matchmaking technology.
How much longer will this project stay under wraps for?
