With Just Cause 2 almost out the door comes the question ‘what’s next for developer Avalanche Studios?’ Other than their venture into the digital hunting business, that is.
Some “big new project,” it would seem.
As Just Cause 2 is getting the final touches ahead of its release next month, there are less than ten people still left working on the project, meaning the rest of the team has already moved on. “Most of the company is working on this new big project,” Christofer Sundberg, co-founder of the Swedish studio, told Develop, not able to divulge any actual details.
AionGuard however — a previously revealed fantasy strategy game — it is not. That much Sundberg confirmed.
