The Medal of Honor franchise has always aspired to bring authenticity to the war-based first-person shooter genre. But what we’ve seen so far – or haven’t, in some cases – hasn’t really impacted as such, although the darker and more serious tone can be thoroughly sensed in every single-player campaign trailer.
In an attempt to depict the soldier, the Tier 1 Operator, the ground on which this new Medal of Honor stands on, EA released two videos featuring “subjects” involved in the making of the game as consultants, as it were. They talk about the “wolfpack mentality” (video above) of the “community” and the factors involved during their “missions” (video below).
“Their identity has been concealed for security purposes.” This thing just got real.
