As creators of hugely addicting/successful games like Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle, PopCap are raking in the cash at the moment. It makes sense then that the company is considering going public in the near future. President David Roberts confirmed that they were looking to make the move when talking to CNBC.
“I do think we’ll be ready internally,” he said. “Whether the market is ready remains to be seen. … It has got to be right for us.”
We’re sure than whenever the team does go public they’ll find even more success. They can’t seem to escape it these days.
