After some delays at developer Asiasoft, Ragnarok Online 2 begins its open beta phase today for English speaking players. Those who are interested can check out the official website at www.PlayRO2.com and sign up now to receive open beta access. The game has already been available to gamers in much of Asia, however today marks the launch of the first English server.
Sherman Tan, Chairman of Asiasoft Online apologized to fans for the delays in a statement made to the press.
“First of all we would like to apologize that we had to delay the start of OBT, which was necessary in order to achieve our main objective of providing the most stable gaming experience to our users,” said Tan.
As a added bonus to those who hop onto the English servers now, Ragnarok Online 2 players will receive 5,000 free RO2Cash if they have at least one Level 10 character in the game by 6th January 2013, 0259hrs (+8 GMT).
