Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine will get a pre-launch sampler on all PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, publisher THQ’s announced today.
Due out later this month, the demo will hit PC and Xbox Live on the 23rd, and PlayStation Network the following day, while those who pre-ordered the digital PC version via Steam will get early access starting this Thursday.
There will be two different areas on show; as the official word explains: “The first pits the player against an Ork horde outside the gates of a munitions factory. Armed with six devastating weapons, including the iconic bolter and lethal chainsword, the player will get to experience Space Marine’s seamless mix of melee and ranged combat first hand as they take on the rampaging invaders.
“The second area gives players a taste of the exhilarating Jump Pack sequences where the game’s hero—Captain Titus—takes to the skies to rain death from above. ”
The game itself is out in September; the 6th in NA, 9th in EU.
