Ubisoft will be holding a console-only beta for Far Cry 3 over the summer; running on the PS3 and 360 for two weeks, players will be given access to 16-player matches, six classes, several maps and modes, plus dozens of weapons and hundreds of upgrades/customizations.
To get into the beta, you’ll have to pick up Ghost Recon: Future Soldier as it launched next week at GameStop and be a GameStop PowerUp Rewards member, in which case you’ll receive a code which can be redeemed here. Afterwards, once the beta is live, you’ll get an invite.
The full game will launch on all PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in September.
