For those of us who have been keeping tabs on the StarCraft II website, a new feature was recently placed up on the site. Dubbed “Battle Report“, the section includes a 20 minute video showcasing actual game footage between two individuals working on the game. So all the StarCraft fans out there, clear your schedules for the next 20 minutes.
The match takes place between the Protoss and Terran races on an alpha build of the game. The colorful commentary that plays while you watch the video is actually pretty well done — one voice in the commentary describes the match along with the tactics being used while the other goes into graphic detail about the map, gameplay, and overall design of this upcoming RTS game.
Even if you aren’t interested in StarCraft II, the video is a great time waster. Being that this is labeled Battle Report 1, I’m sure we will be seeing more of these in the near future.
