Make a pool in the ocean that is only one or two blocks deep, and make sure it’s fully enclosed so the axolotl can’t escape. Now, it’s feeding time!
Because you made the farm in a warm ocean biome, there should be plenty of tropical fish splashing about, which means you’ll have plenty of food for breeding your axolotls. Just remember to make two buckets (or more) so you can stock up on enough tropical fish for a new baby in one trip.

After they’ve given birth, adults need to recharge for roughly a minute before they can have another baby. You can’t use babies for breeding, but you can also speed up their growth to adulthood by feeding them buckets of tropical fish.
