You’d think that IO interactive would have their hands full working on improving Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days after the disappointing first installment, but apparently not. Square Enix Europe CEO Phil Rogers has revealed that the developers have another project in the works at the moment, and yes, it could indeed be Hitman 5.
The Sqeenix boss stated that “Io is working on more than one project right now, massively so,” and when asked about the rumors that there was a new Hitman game in the works he gave a very encouraging
“of course you would expect nothing else,” he said of the speculation, “Io and Hitman go hand-in-hand.”
Perhaps we’ll see Agent 47 return once Kane & Lynch have stormed Shanghai in August, then.
