BioWare marketing director David Silverman has ended the speculation and wordplay once and for all; there will be more Mass Effect in our future.
“You can definitely expect us to expand the series beyond [Mass Effect 3],” Silverman said in the latest episode of EA’s PWNED web series.
“Whether it’s other games, other platforms, things like that, we really feel like we have something special here with Mass Effect and there’s plenty more stories to tell.”
“This is not the last of of Mass Effect.”
Just a month ago, BioWare co-founder Ray Muzyka said they do have “a desire to continue the Mass Effect franchise,” but Silverman’s phrasing is as clear as the studio’s gotten on the matter yet. We are pleased.
