Sony is playing with us! With absolutely no notice, they have teased us with the promise of a streamed announcement focusing on the Vita. In just a few minutes (3:00am EST {Midnight PST}, February 18th) Sony is going to give us new information about the Vita and possibly more.
With only a few days away before they reveal the “future of PlayStation”, Sony is promising to “…deliver new information about PlayStation Vita” on Monday, February 18th at 5:00pm Tokyo time. The president of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan, Hiroshi Kawano, is slated to make the announcement and is providing you with a couple different streaming methods, including your smart phone.
We anticipated some surprises before Sony’s big announcement in New York City on Wednesday, but it looks like they’re trying to get us riled up beforehand. The future of the PS3, Vita, and future PlayStation consoles are on the line! Make sure you watch the event!
As for me, I’m waiting for my copy of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance to arrive tomorrow. It’ll be the first time I have played a Metal Gear installment that doesn’t involve Snake. And that dates back to the late 80’s. Scared and excited! What do you all think is in store for Sony’s future? Doom or glory?
