Around 12 artists and engineers at Rare have lost their jobs, gi.biz is reporting. This comes after yesterday’s news that Microsoft has put Rare under review with the goal to put in place “a more efficient and scalable development process.” Also reduced is the number of project leads. It’s not a wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am situation though as employees have been asked to apply for other positions within the company.
