Just Cause series developer Avalanche Studios is currently working on no less than three triple-A projects, the Swedish studio has revealed.
All scheduled for release in 2013 and 2014, the first of the three will be announced before July of this year, meaning an E3 announcement is likely. I don’t know about you, but this guy is ready for Just Cause 3. No hints as to the nature of the projects have been given though.
The 2014 title(s) may be on next-gen hardware, as the studio has previously said they’re “pretty sure there’ll be at least one next-generation console on the market” by early 2014.
Avalanche recently opened up a new New York-based outfit, for which it secured talent from the likes of Insomniac, Sucker Punch, BioWare, Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Quebec, Volition, EA Vancouver, Kaos, Turbine, Bethesda, Sony Online and DreamWorks Animation. More on that here.
