id Software’s first new shooter property in over a decade, the id Tech 5-powered Rage at last has a release date attached to it; “when it’s done” no more, the post-apocalyptic PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 bulletfest has been penned down for a September 13, 2011 release in the US and September 15, 2011 in Europe, dates that are, look at that, only 13 months away.
Tim Willits, creative director, delivered the news at the end of the game’s presentation at QuakeCon today, promising the “biggest, coolest, and most badass launch possible.”
