Last time the elusive Project Offset made a splash on our radar was in December when a rep from Intel — who acquired Offset in early 2008 — said to expect news of the impressive fantasy title this year. The first of those updates has now arrived, in the form of another video.
The star of the show in this tech demo — as seen in the video above — is a blind giant who’s tasked with showing off the game’s havok destruction capabilities. Overall it’s perhaps slightly less impressive than the meteor shower clip released a year ago, which in turn didn’t quite live up to the standard the gameplay footage of July 2007 set, but, all signs of life from this title are most welcome around these parts.
